The Prof. Machado Capelas Clinic began its activity in 1954, having been a pioneering healthcare facility in Portugal in applying a multidisciplinary approach to dental treatments. This was always the vision of its founder, Prof. Machado Capelas—a renowned stomatologist, university professor, and member of the founding commission of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Porto.
Today, the clinic continues the mission and philosophy of its founder, focusing on Complex Oral Rehabilitation. It brings together an experienced medical team specialised in each area of Dental Medicine, combining knowledge and expertise with state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.
